Public hearings for sustainable environment: Betong model for integrated waste management

Green Tree Foundation, in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University, organized a forum to listen to the opinions of citizens in Betong Municipality, Yala Province, under the Betong Municipality Integrated Waste Management Project. The objectives are to collect opinions, suggestions, and create participation of local citizens in order to lead to effective, sustainable waste management methods that are appropriate for the community context.

This forum reflects the intention of the foundation and the academic sector to drive society to seriously give importance to environmental management, always adhering to the principle of "thinking together, doing together, and protecting nature".

Because every voice of the people is the power of change for a better environment for all of us.
