Opening of a flood relief center in Chiang Mai – Joining forces with Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna x Green Tree Foundation x Network partners

📌 Ministry of Higher Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Chiang Mai, in collaboration with Green Tree Foundation , Chiang Mai Municipality , National Disaster Response Association and partners, opened a frontline coordination center to assist flood victims in Chiang Mai.

By providing support and taking urgent action as follows:

1. Open a central kitchen to produce and distribute food and produce clean drinking water.

2. Provide speedboat services to help patients, the elderly, young children and to deliver food and drinking water.

3. Use drones to deliver goods in flooded areas, including close-up surveys of the area.

4. Arrange forklifts to access risk areas with a team of over 50 people and over 200 volunteer innovators.

🔻Start operations from October 5, 2024 onwards.
